About Black Edge

Black Edge Sound Studios is a private studio facility established by Nick Dixon in 2019. Nick graduated from university in 2008 with a degree in music production and broadcasting, Initially pursuing a career in video game development first as a sound designer and then audio director. Nick moved into post production sound for feature film and TV following a 10 year career in AAA console game development and now works as a supervising sound editor on feature films, feature documentary and HETV.

Black Edge Sound Studios post production sound operation was retired at the end of 2023 and now forms part of Sugar Studios London’ UK facilities.
